Sanda Shandu is a South African actor, musician, and performer whose work turns every stage into a shared experience; whether that's a theatre, a screen near you, or a dancefloor that doesn't want the night to end.

A funky old soul with serious credentials, Sanda spent over a decade earning his stripes in theatre and screen before stepping into the spotlight as a recording artist and live performer. His debut single "Space Milkshakes" announced a sound rooted in 70s and 80s funk and soul. Nostalgic, rhythmically infectious, and his own.

On stage, he's earned Fleur du Cap and Naledi awards for his breakout role in King Kong, with acclaimed performances in Richard III, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Unlikely Secret Agent, and more from Cape Town and Johannesburg to London's Marylebone Theatre.

On screen, he's appeared in Netflix's The Kissing Booth trilogy and a string of acclaimed local productions including Skemerdans, Donkerbos, Mlungu Wam, and Soft Love with a recurring role in the highly anticipated Spinners Season 2, coming soon on Showmax
